Privacy and Provision of Personal Data

For different purposes such as membership application, newsletter subscription and general correspondence with us you may provide NZCCHK with personal data. Such personal information may include, but not limited to: name; telephone number; mailing address; employer; profile; and e-mail address. NZCCHK will assess the data collection purpose and apply such data to the intended purpose. You are welcome to request NZCCHK to provide you with details held in your name and to request update or amendment of any data held.

When providing personal data during membership application, we provide you with ability to opt-in or opt-out of certain options e.g. listing in our membership directory or receipt of electronic communications from us.

All personal data you provide to NZCCHK is held in files accessible by NZCCHK only, and access to them is restricted to authorised personnel only.

NZCCHK does not support fax facilities.

Despite the implementation of unsolicited message legislation by the Hong Kong Government several years ago, we find the legislation has failed to halt the excessive amount of junk fax material received and we are not prepared to bear the costs of supporting this form of solicitation. Any party that wishes to communicate with us by fax should instead scan their documents and attach to an appropriate e-mail to the address above. Thank you for your understanding.
